Legacy Professionals™

The verifiednetwork behindevery plan

Legacy Buddy handles the routine documents. When a household needs a licensed professional, they are matched with one who has been verified, in their own state. This is how you join that network.

Free to join. Every licence verified before listing.

Who can join

Four kinds of licence, one network

Legacy Professionals™ is a licensed network rather than an open directory. If you hold one of these credentials and it checks out, you can be part of it.

Verified against BrokerCheck

Financial advisors and planners

Registered investment advisors, broker dealer representatives, CFP and CFA holders. If you already talk to clients about what happens to their money after them, this is the part of that conversation the platform can carry for you.

Active FINRA or SEC registration, or a current CFP or CFA credential

Verified with your state bar

Estate and probate attorneys

Attorneys licensed in the states they practise in. Routine wills and powers of attorney are handled by the platform, so the work that reaches you through Smart Review™ and Legacy Counsel™ is the work that genuinely needs a lawyer.

Active bar licence in at least one state, in good standing

Verified with your licensing board

CPAs and tax professionals

Licensed accountants advising on estates, gifts and business succession. You are often the first person a family tells about an inheritance, and frequently the only one who sees the whole picture.

Active CPA licence or equivalent state credential

Verified with your state department

Insurance producers

Licensed life and long term care producers. Protection is one of the four pillars the LQ™ Score measures, so a household with dependants and no cover shows up as a gap before anybody has to raise it.

Active life or health producer licence in your state

Not licensed, but your community already asks you for guidance? There is nothing for you to join today. A referral programme for individuals and organisations is planned for a later phase.

What you get

What being in the network actually gives you

Four things, and none of them asks you to change how you practise.

The routine work stops eating your calendar

A straightforward will for a household with a house and two children is repeatable work. The platform handles it, applies the execution rules of the client’s state and hands them the signing checklist, which frees the hours you would rather spend on the matters that need you.

Your time back

You see where a client stands before the meeting

When a household connects with you, their LQ™ Score and the gaps behind it are visible to you inside the platform. You arrive knowing what is missing instead of spending the first half hour finding out.

Shared where it helps

Inbound work in the states you are licensed in

Smart Review™ and Legacy Counsel™ requests are matched to verified professionals by state and by the kind of matter. Households browsing the directory from inside the product see the professionals who can actually act for them.

Matched by state

Your client relationship stays yours

You agree scope directly with the client and you set your own fees, exactly as you would for any other engagement. The platform is where the work arrives and where the plan lives. It is not a party to your advice.

Independent, always

Who you would be working with

Households that already know what they are missing

Everybody on the platform has answered a full interview about their family and their finances, and has an LQ™ Score with the gaps behind it. They are not cold names. They are people who have already done the uncomfortable part.

The largest group

Young families getting started

A first will, a guardian to name, a mortgage and not much else. They are on the platform because it was cheap enough to begin, and they turn into the households below over the next decade.

Usually need reassurance more than advice

Where advice starts

Established households with a home

Property, real savings, retirement accounts and people who depend on them. This is the group the platform routes most often, because a trust, beneficiary designations and an actual plan all start mattering at once.

Trusts, funding, beneficiary mismatches

Complex, and they know it

Business owners and multi state families

An operating company, property in more than one state, or a blended family with competing claims. The platform flags these during the interview and tells the household plainly that software is not enough.

Routed to Legacy Counsel™ by design

Time sensitive

People who just had a life event

A birth, a marriage, a divorce, a move, an inheritance or a diagnosis. Their plan flags what has gone out of date, which is the moment they are most likely to want somebody to talk to.

Arrive with a specific question

Already engaged

Households mid way through a plan

They have signed something and stalled: a trust that was never funded, a power of attorney nobody has a copy of, an executor who moved. The unfinished item is visible to you before the first conversation.

A short, concrete piece of work

Through their employer

Groups and workforces

Employers, unions and membership organisations offering Legacy Buddy to everyone they cover. A whole cohort starting at once, in your state, is the closest thing to a standing referral stream on the platform.

Volume, in one geography

A household reaches you in one of two ways: they browse the directory and choose you, or the platform matches a Smart Review™ or Legacy Counsel™ request to your state and speciality. Either way, they arrive with their plan attached.

What you log into

Two dashboards, built for two different jobs

Advisors and planners get a practice view. Attorneys get a queue. Both are the real product, not a marketing rendering of it.

Your clients, their readiness, and the households in your state looking for somebody. Leads, marketing and performance sit behind the same rail.

A client’s LQ™ Score and the gaps behind it become visible to you when they connect with you, and not before. Nothing is shown to you for a household that has not.

How it works

Four steps, and the second one is the real gate

Verification is what makes a listing here worth having, so it happens before anything else.

01

Apply

A short form: who you are, what you are licensed to do, and the states you work in.

02

We verify your licence

Registrations are checked against FINRA BrokerCheck, and bar, CFP, CFA, CPA and insurance credentials with the body that issued them. Nobody is listed on an unverified claim.

03

You are listed and matched

Your profile appears in the directory households browse from inside the product, and requests in your state and your speciality start reaching you.

04

Onboarding covers the rest

How the partnership works commercially is agreed with you once you are verified, in a conversation rather than on a public page.

Enterprise

Offering it to a whole workforce or membership?

Employers, unions, credit unions and membership organisations can offer Legacy Buddy to everyone they cover, at a rate set for the group. Estate planning is one of the few benefits that costs little and is genuinely used by people at every income level.
