One number forwhere you stand

America has a score for how safely you borrow. It has never had one for whether your family is protected. The LQ™ Score reads your finances and your estate together and answers that question in one number.

Before anything else

Four things the LQ Score is not

A number out of 100 attached to your family invites a lot of wrong assumptions. Here are the ones worth clearing first.

It is not a credit score

No bureau holds it, nothing reports it, and it has no bearing on borrowing. It exists inside your account and nowhere else.

Not reported anywhere

It is not a grade

There is no pass mark and nobody is marking you. A low number is a list of things you have not done yet, in the order they are worth doing.

No pass mark

It is not on your credit file

It is not reported to a bureau, it is not sold, and it is not brokered. It never reaches a lender or an insurer. It is visible to you, and to a professional you choose to work with inside the platform.

Never sold, never reported

It is not a prediction

It describes where your family stands today if something happened tomorrow. It does not forecast returns and it does not promise an outcome.

A snapshot, not a forecast

Why it matters

The one number American families have never had

There is a score for how safely you borrow, and a figure for what you are worth. Neither of them tells you whether the people who depend on you would be looked after.

One view, not two

Money and paperwork, read together

Wealth tools stop at your balance sheet. Estate tools stop at your documents. Your family is exposed in the gap between them, which is exactly where the LQ™ Score looks: savings against dependants, a trust against what it actually holds, a beneficiary form against the will it quietly overrides.

Scored, then sequenced

A number you can move this evening

Every point is attached to an action, ordered so the largest gap is the first thing you read. Nothing on the list is advice you have to interpret. It is a will to sign, an alternate to name, a beneficiary to correct.

Shared where it helps

The same number your professional works from

When you bring in an advisor or an estate attorney through the platform, they see the score and the gaps behind it. One shared reading of your family means the hour you spend with them goes on decisions rather than on discovery.

A credit score decided who could buy a home for two generations, because a single honest number changes behaviour in a way advice never does. The LQ™ Score does that for the part of your financial life nobody has ever measured.

The four pillars

Weighted by what actually protects a family

Four scores, each out of 100, combined into one. They are not counted evenly, because the risks are not even.

Estate Readiness leans on the result hardest. Savings can recover from a bad year. A missing guardian clause cannot be fixed after the fact, which is why the pillar that decides what actually happens to your family counts for the most. The exact weighting is ours, and keeping it that way is what makes the score something to improve rather than something to game.

Reading the number

What each band actually means

Most people start in the forties or fifties. That is the ordinary case, not a bad result.

75 to 100Excellent

The documents exist, they are signed, and the money is arranged to match them. At this level the work is maintenance: reviewing after a move, a birth or a purchase.

55 to 74Good

The core is in place and something specific is missing. Usually a trust that was signed but never funded, or a beneficiary that still names an estate rather than a person.

40 to 54Fair

This is where most people start, and it is a perfectly ordinary place to be. It generally means the savings are real but the paperwork has not caught up with them.

Under 40Needs work

Nothing is written down yet. That is not a failure, it is the position two out of three families are in. One evening moves this more than any other number on the page.

Moving it

The four things that move it most

The score is ordered so the largest thing you are missing is the first thing you read. For most people, these are the four.

Estate Readiness

Sign the will you have been meaning to write

The single largest move most people ever make. Estate Readiness leans on the score harder than any other pillar, and going from nothing to a signed, correctly witnessed will moves it further than anything else on this list.

Estate Readiness

Fund the trust you already signed

A trust that owns nothing does nothing. Retitling the house into it is paperwork rather than a decision, and it is the most common gap we see on otherwise strong plans.

Protection

Name a backup for every role

One executor, one guardian, one attorney in fact is a plan with a single point of failure. Naming an alternate for each takes minutes and closes it.

Generational Impact

Check the beneficiaries on your accounts

Retirement accounts and policies pass by beneficiary designation, not by your will. A form filled in years ago quietly overrides the document you just wrote.

Who sees it

You, and whoever you bring in to help.

When you connect with a Legacy Professional™, they see your score and the gaps behind it inside the platform. That is deliberate. It means the advisor or attorney helping you starts from what is actually missing instead of an hour of questions, and it is why the conversation is shorter and better than it would otherwise be.

Everywhere else, it stops with you. No credit bureau holds it, no lender or insurer is shown it, and we neither sell it nor broker it. Browsing the directory shares nothing.
