What a professional sees when you connect with them
Exactly what is shared, when it is shared, and why the answer is not "nothing".
The most useful thing about bringing an advisor or an attorney in through the platform is that they arrive already knowing where the gaps are. That only works because something is shared, so it is worth being precise about what.
Nothing, until you connect
Browsing the directory shares nothing at all. A professional listed there cannot see you, your score, or that you looked.
What changes it is you connecting with one: choosing them, or sending a Smart Review™ or Legacy Counsel™ request that gets matched to them.
Then: your score and the gaps behind it
Your LQ™ Score, the four pillars underneath it, which documents exist and which are missing, and the recommendations already queued for you.
That is the point of it. An hour with an estate attorney spent establishing what you own and what you have signed is an expensive hour. Starting from the gaps is a better use of both people.
What never leaves
It is not reported to any credit bureau, not shown to a lender or an insurer, and not sold or brokered to anybody. There is no version of this where your readiness becomes a product somebody else buys.
Vault documents are separate again: those are shared per document and per person, with view, download or edit chosen individually, and revocable in one action.
And every professional is verified
Advisor registrations are checked against FINRA BrokerCheck; bar, CFP, CFA, CPA and insurance credentials with the body that issued them. Nobody is listed on an unverified claim, which is what makes the introduction worth anything to you.
Legacy Buddy provides document creation tools, not legal advice.
Knowing what to do is the hard part. This is the easy part.
Joining is free and stays free: your LQ™ Score, your recommendations and your vault, with no card. A plan is for when you want the documents themselves.
Free forever. No card. You pay only when you want documents.
